If you are already a few months ago we assumed a smaller sensor competition peeking in patents now we have a rumor that speaks specifically of a multiplication factor 2.6 x. Then the sensor with a diameter of 17mm, will be smaller than even the micro four thirds. A choice, that of Nikon, who probably wants to avoid cannibalizing its SLR market.
