Canon EOS 350D with no parachute!
Survives a fall from a height of 900 meters …
All the manufacturers of professional digital SLR cameras emphasize the capabilities of their top level to be able to withstand the worst weather and environmental conditions, but certainly no one would expect similar performance from an inexpensive entry-level DSLR.
It happens however that the Canon EOS 350D Marius Ivascu, a parachuting instructor in Florida, coming off his helmet with a video camera when he opened his parachute during a launch continuing its descent to earth from an altitude of about 900 mt calculated at a rate of approx. 150-170 kmh.
Imagine his surprise when, after half an hour of searching with the help of photographer Calin Leuca, the EOS is found apparently integrates with the remains of the camera and destroyed Marius press the Play button 350D, a buzz and a few seconds waiting and the last recorded picture is there, ready to wait!
